On Sunday 14 June Wixford Village Hall celebrated its 90th birthday. The committee was determined that this significant milestone would not pass unnoticed, even within the constraints of Covid. So, with much bunting and a limited number of attendees from the committee and the Parish Council, the Village Hall Chairman, John Cain, made a short speech about the importance of the village hall to the community and lit a rather large sparkling candle prior to cutting the magnificent birthday cake. It was truly a fun occasion.
