In the beginning of August we were delighted to hear from the Masonic Charitable Association that we were to receive a £1,000 donation from the Freemasons.
Apparently, the Freemasons not only support their own members through charitable giving but also the wider community.
The cheque was received by the Wixford Village Hall Committee last week in front of the Hall.
The money received will help to build towards the total needed to replace the village hall.
